No disrespect, but you ain't exactly your average Rover's fans priority at the moment. I always expected 400-500 max with or without a cup final to save for. Saturday aft and on tv is a lousy fixture for many, especially with football starting and City at home.

Given the time and expense spent securing Cup final tickets, travel and accommodation, im surprised as many as 230 have bothered pre-purchasing Leigh tickets.
Ill probably decide to travel across on the day but the reality is our season wont be defined on Saturday. We can afford to (and probably will) lose.

As will yours with the massive 2500 believers.

Aye, amazed there will probably be under 4K at the game. Yes I'm a Leigh fan, and I mean the home support. We are 'on a roll' it's the 1st game of the 'middle 8's' and we are playing the challenge cup finalists, and both sides love to play attacking Rugby !!! (Can't wait for it, personally)

Watch a interview with Liam Salter on kr tv and he said they ain't worrying about other teams it's all about what mentality we turn up with (or something along them lines). And he is right imo if we turn up half hearted with 1 eye on the cup then we may come unstuck but if we turn up with the attitude of last time we played at LSV then we will win this game

I'm surprised Leigh are making home fans pay for this, I would have thought they'd try to pack this out to give the team a boost for the start of the 8's. We're just off the back of a semi and having to fork out a fortune on tickets, travel etc for the final so a game that's on tv anyway will be the obvious to save a few quid on. Shame cos it should be a great game, we should have too much but just get the feeling we'll slip up. Hope I'm wrong as a win would get us right on the front foot

It is a very expensive period at the moment what with Wembley on the horizon, plus it's on the TV and the holiday season is in full flow at the moment which means many will be either away or putting aside spending money for their hols.
After taking those factors into consideration I would say that anywhere between 300 to 500 would be very good travelling support on the day.
I would imagine also that like ourselves, there will be quite a few that will pay on the day.

500 would be brilliant. Away support in the Championship nowadays is awful. Bradford brought around 2000 for the big season opener which was great. Fax brought about 400, Fev 250. Other than that nobody else has brought more than 50 which is a shame as it makes it hard to get any atmosphere going when there is no away support.

Hope those that make the trip over enjoy themselves, just not too much!

Fully understand the costs your fans will have at this time and few will be able to do everything and will make choices.

Locally we have the start of the soccer season with MUFC and BWFC both at home that day, LMR have a semi final, Haydock park has one of its biggest meetings of the year and the holiday season is in full flight
