Last I heard it was supposed to be, unless the breaking news is about a delay it should be ready by then.

They're afternoon kick-offs right?
Seriously, I don't think anybody is 100% on it yet, have to see what it says tomorrow. I'd like to think they'd get their finger out for that even if they won't or can't for us.

| I need to be careful here but, I know Neil is fuming with the council over the delays, which has now cost the club with the delays stopping a good attendance for the Derby, resulting in lost revenue.
His main anger is in the direction of the councils officers and partners with mistakes made on planning issues around M&E and colour, down to number of toilets, as a Director of NPS I cannot go into too much detail or play the blame game, but I will say that the dalays have done no one any favours, that said the target date remains 9th September.
Daren Hale will be responding in tomorrows HDM, as I remain friends with Neil and on the projects board and on the BOD at NPS, I will be unable to make any statements around the article in the HDM, other than continued updates re progress and news from the project board.

| Neil Hudgell is furious with the council? Beggars belief. Perhaps the council should withdraw from underwriting the ERDF loan, and recommend that Hull Training remain at Raywell Street.
Not panicking, is he? His ingratitude seems impudently audacious otherwise.

| Yeah, they probably haven't spent any money on the project yet, so that is no doubt completely feasible.

While the pulling out part is wishful thinking on her part WIH does have a point, Hudge should maybe wind his neck in, bearing in mind the club have had more help from the council than just the funding, and also are responsible for some of the delays themselves.

I should hope the council haven't spent, nor ever will need to spend, one paltry pence after all Phil's protestations. Fact is, though, that stand would not be going ahead without the council's securing of financing and organising of the relocation Hull Training, so Hudge's snap at the hand that's feeding him is a bit unpalatable, don't you think?

As was my narky sarky response. We'll see what he has to say. On the one hand it has been plagued by delays, but on the other it can be unwise to be impolite to those who are assisting you financially, even when you're upset with them.

Hopefully, but sounds more likely to be the one in Rio next year
Seriously though, these delays have hurt you badly. Ideally, this could have been ready for the first part of the season and if you have received more favouarble fixture planning, you could have benefitted from increased revenues later in the season. It's money Rovers and the game could do with,, why things haven't gone to plan with what I'd have thought is a relatvely straightforward build must be frustarting to all Rovers fans.

Possibly true in many cases. Not entirely in this case though, I really think he should wind his neck in as I said before, the club hasn't entirely covered itself in glory in the process.

| I would have thought there is already a formula for the amount of toilets needed for a set amount of people during a given time. desgn companies have been building stands for decades.
The cladding colour could out of the clubs hands.

I think you should read up on your history before making stupid comments.
You inherited 5,000 fans overnight by moving to the KC.
Didn't the council also buy the overpriced Boulevard land for the same amount of debt you were in at the time?

We didn't inherit any fans, merely brought back some of the missing ones.
We played our part in a major regeneration project in West Hull and allowed the council to buy our old stadium from us.

How hypocritical of the FC fans, they have a go at us for biting the hand that feeds yet its ok for them to have a go at Mr Allam even tho he allows them to play in his stadium..
On topic tho', I don't think anyone knows the full ins and outs of the contracts (I know some think they do). Regardless of who's paying what it is still our ground and as such the chairman will want to see that the works that have been agreed are carried out correctly and are open on time. If as has been stated it also costing the club more than was agreed he also has a right to annoyed.
I'm assuming wheels will have been in motion to use the corporate facilities and marketing of these will have taken place, if these are not as planned then again this will undermine any of the marketing done so far.
I know its always nice for the FC lot to have a dig at NH but maybe he's just doing his job and vocalising his displeasure, lets be honest if the boot was on the other foot and FC where getting charged extra costs for things they would expect their chairman to speak up.
