Erm the floodlight cables where being stolen the police where called and they never turned up!! Well technically they did turn up.................................2 hrs later.

Like the police say, they have few resources and surely this has to be low down on the list. Losing £4,000 is rubbish for Hull KR, but for the police attending drug or assualt related crimes is far more important. They got the decision spot on.

Who knows I certainly don't know the full circumstances surrounding the theft. But how many have a go heroes are reported in the news having come away from the scene of a crime with a knife in their belly. For instance 5/6 guys stealing cabling are you 100% sure you'd approach the gang and say excuse me gents but do you mind if I politely ask you to just off.

Security have no right to effect any kind of action all they can do is stand and watch it happen.
That was why the police were called and the answer was 'To busy sorry'.

Bit dramatic that, isn't it? I'm not saying they 'should' have done more, but surely they will have gotten accurate descriptions and reg no. Of any vehicle involved.
Also, its normal practise for Police nowadays. If there's no immediate human danger they rarely respond to big companies. Happens all the time, its just highlighted because its one of the sports clubs.

Their wasn't any human danger, and damage was relatively low cost. I fail to see the outrage tbh.

I personally think that if the poilce were able to make a collar right there and then whilst the crime was taking place it would help save them taking time and money to 'do enquires'.

Came down beverley high road this morning and there were 8 police at a radar speed check,so doing over 30 on a dual carriageway constitutes more of a crime than theft,whether it be from rovers ground or somebodys home does it.???
