Every Coach no matter how good they are have a indifferent season or a poor one even the likes of brian smith, noble, kear, tony smith etc have had poor seasons in the past. On paper our squad is stronger but we are lacking confidence and belief and cohesion, I have written off this season and if next season is the same as this season then yes justin has to go. But to sack a coach who is having a difficult time as a knee jerk reaction is ridiculous. otherwise 1/4 (if not more) of coaches in super league would be sacked each season.

Fans I know are quite happy for us just to beat fc and that's it, Is that all we should aim for? If we want to improve to grow we have to aim higher than just winning the derby, It means nothing if we are at the wrong end of the table come the end of season.

they are a few players who aren't giving their all and are not fit to wear the shirt and they should go before Justin does. But Justin has to and is responsible for where we find ourselves at the moment and it is not good enough.

As opposed to the current over structured, predictable one dimensional rugby. Even i was calling Rovers plays in good ball so any decent coach will find them easy to read and even easier to plan for.

I agree with what you're saying about Morgan but the calls to replace him with Noble is laughable. Do you honestly think he'd take us on to the next level.

Correct, though i'm not too sure i agree with your analysis of Noble having watched Wigan and Crusaders during his time as coach there,

Wigan fans seemed very happy to see the back of him, they were disillusioned with his tactics and also his seeming reluctance to play any youth players, something again Morgan is criticised for.

As I said maybe Morgan's time is up, but i just hope we look for the correct man for the job not just anyone who'll take it.

Yet he took them from the bottom of the league to the play off semis.....strange. I also recall the likes of Goulding, McIlloram, both Tompkins, Prescott and Mossop featuring regularly for his sides. There may well have been others.

He also should have been relegated with them but for some blatant cheating that they got penalised for a year later when it had no effect. He did blood some of the named players, Sam Tomkins being the most notable although this was only because he was forced into by an increasing injury list (Tim Smith being the point in case for Tomkins).

Noble has his points and a very good record but he has made a habit of leaving clubs either under a cloud or in shady circumstances, certainly not one for the job IMO.

I can not beleive the morons calling for Morgan to go. For what he has done he deserves time to put things right. Those saying we will never win anything with him are forgetting we have won probably the most important trophy this club has ever won in its history, The league one grand final. Also is it right that people are calling for any person to be put out of work?

Players are put out of work every season if things are not working for them at their club, Coaches are sacked/leave also if it is not working for them...
Nobby Noble one of the most decorated coaches in the country is out of work..

Your sentiments suggest all players/coaches should be kept by clubs even if things are not working out, how would that work then ?

So, how many years does Morgan get based on winning promotion almost 5 seasons ago? Neill Kelly did the same with Widnes in 2001, yet I don't see a queue of SL clubs at his door.

If Morgan did go, who would we replace him with? As much as I'd like a British coach neither Noble or Kear would be the man to take us to the next level. Realistically we'd be looking at another antipodean coming in.
