Some things just stay with you forever, no matter how hard you try, you just can't get them from your mind! 
As well as Jamie "Bloody" Sandie, from "The Game Which Should Never Be Mentioned", my other memory of that game was a Rovers family sat in front of my family. The grandma with them was resplendent in home made red trousers for the occasion. Unfortunately, said trousers were not very securely fastened and every time something exciting happened and she jumped up, they fell down revealing a pristine pair of white airtex knickers. I think she also lost her teeth when Joe Cool missed at the end. |

That 8-3 Saints/Hull KR Challenge Cup tie was definitly 1985 rather than 1986 as Mal Meninga was playing for us that night and his only season at St Helens was the 1984/85 one. |

Didn't Cas sign an Aborigini specifically for that 86' final and he scored 2 tries and we didn't have much of him after that!!
Imagine if that was allowed today, let's de-activate someone and get Yow Yeah on th'wing.
I feel we will put all our eggs into one basket for this one, it really is the only chance of salvaging something from this season.
