| WE HAVE MASSIVE PROBLEMS. I AM ALREADY FEELING SORRY FOR WILLIE MASON. MASSIVE PRESSURE WILL BE PUT ON HIS SHOULDERS STRAIGHT FROM GAME ONE. WITHOUT DOBSON WE REALLY ARE A LOWER LEAGUE SUPER LEAGUE CLUB AT BEST, IN THE LAST TWO GAMES WE HAVE BEEN GROUND DOWN AND BY THE FINAL WHISTLE OUT ON OUR FEET. IN ATTACK AND DEFENCE WE ARE STRUGGLING BADLY FOR DIRECTION. I HOPE WILLIE HAS COME IN HIS BEST SHAPE. HE IS ABOUT TO BE GIVEN MORE BALL THAN HE EVER HAS. HE IS ABOUT TO PLAY MORE MINUTES IN A GAME THAN HE EVER HAS. IF MASON COMES THROUGH THIS AND PUSHES THIS TEAM UP THE LEAGUE EVEN TO WITHIN A CHANCE FOR SILVERWARE HE WILL BE SUPERMAN. I EXPECT MASON TO DO THIS. PLAYERS LIKE MASON ONLY COME AROUND VERY OCCASIONALLY THEY MEET CHALLENGES AND BEAT CHALLENGES. ITS TIME TO TAKE YOUR STAGE WILLIE, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!!

| While I agree with some of the things u say cab man I believe our coach and team will turn things around we have the quality there they are just lacking a bit of direction at the minute that I believe will resolve u can't just expect us to lose Dobbo and everything be hunky dori, while I admit scotty is not our answer at 7, I thought he had a goodish game yesterday, we all need to remain positive it is gut wrenching to watch Ur team lose 3 in a row but it's a long hard season and we will be up there when it matters.

'Respect the football' is a much used adage by coaching staff , if we'd have done that a tad more over the last couple of games we may have come away with wins.
Still , you've got to credit the opposition for taking advantage of our mistakes.

It was clear to see in the 2nd half, that we felt we were lucky to only be 2 points down at the break, thust the reason for the control in the 2nd half. The next score was vital and if you guys had got it, then who knows what the outcome would be. Dobson is a massive miss (like Chase would be for us as you have stated), but this year we have Danny Orr taking the pressure off him. In my oppinion he was the MOM. You have had a couple of blips and don't become a bad side over night, Green is class, but no one is brilliant all the time. Not exactly right about last year, we beat Leeds in the 1st game and lost the next 3, so I don't class as that being a good start. Like I said on my post on Friday - Look forward to seeing you...., your fans are a credit and a lot of followers would have been doing the 'Wigan walk' well before the end, but you stayed and clapped your team off. Looking forward to coming to CP towards the end of the season (shorts and tee shirts I hope)

| I agree. We have been clueless this season apart from our only win. We are missing a quality half back and we need one bad if we are going to be play off contenders this season. I say SACK AGAR!!! Oh wait, it's the KR messageboard! I could have been easily mistaken for some of the topics on here. Now you know what it's like for us week in week out!!!! Well apart from crusaders but to be honest they are dire!

I've said this for a while. We're one of the thickest teams in the league. This isn't a problem when we stick to Morgan's game plan, but as soon as we deviate from this then things almost always go wrong.
We play a low risk brand of rugby league that needs a completion rate of at least 65% to be successful. You don't have a decent completion rate when you drop the ball and just aimlessly throw it all over the park, hence we're losing games at the moment.
We're also badly missing some grunt up front at present. The majority of our tries (or should that be the grammatically incorrect try's, I'm never sure?) come off our excellent short kicking game. We have two players in our outside backs capable of scoring from deep in Fox (strangely terrible at the moment) and Hall (has only played twice) so unless our forwards rediscover the oppositions twenty metre area we're going to struggle to put points on the board.
Clinton's a quality player whose out of form at the moment, Lovegrove is hopefully back and Vella is now out injured. Two positives and a negative. A pack of Clinton, Fisher, Lovegrove, Newton, Galea and Murrell with Mason, Wheeldon and Hodgson from the bench should be more than capable of matching most teams in this league.
We'll come good, but the fans need to realise we're a fifth to seventh team at best with an outside chance in the CC given a good draw.

Agree completely.
Edit - Watts deserves the 4th spot on that bench though.

Given that you guys are (currently) so sceptical of Mason's impact it seems odd that you all spent so much time and effort trying to convince us he wasn't coming at all.
It's almost as if you're following a flow chart.
Where do you go next if Mason makes a big impression?
Finances?
Ground Capacity?

| I think the turning point of yesterday's game came, when just after we'd forced two goal line drop outs, Hall knocked the ball back wards and Fox instead of just diving on the ball, to knocked it back even further, in to no man's land, Cas picked up and went the length of the field to score. We never seemed to revover from that point onwards.

Don't worry, we'll soon have the annual "I'm not coming to your pit of a ground when Hudgell's ripping me off" thread.

Can I just point out that some of us are sceptical about his impact (not the same as writing him off BTW) but have been saying that he'd arrive all along?

I wasn't at that Hull FC fan, "Agree a common opinion" meeting, so I've issued a correction to your statement. Hopefully its not to complicated for you to grasp.

I would say that's a fair assessment of Craven Park and the environs.
