Ben Galea may not be the player he was a couple of years ago but i would never question his integrity.

I think he can hold his head high. He was a good servant of the club and got the job done. I can only wish him luck for the future. All players move on - playing rugby is their job. And in any industry people move on for various reasons without question. Why should this industry be any different?!?!?!

A young team from Wigan, but might not generally be abad thing if we have a strong squad out, They will still need to beat what is in front of them and the youngsters from wigan wont be shirking out of tackles. We have a few new faces so will need abit of match time to bond.

Decent hit out after a slow start. Paterson & Mika looked sharp, thought Salter played well. Play the ball penalties were annoying, hope this isn't going to happen when the season starts.

It was a friendly, It was about warming up for the season and therefore nothing to take seriously.
An FC fan finding it disappointing clearly means they don't grasp this basic and simple premise or they are a troll on a fishing mission.

Reasonable performance, plenty of room for improvement. Thought Wigan was very disrepectfull with their team choice..... may as well of played a championship team...

however the new boys showed well and that can only be a plus for us...

How Wigan prepare is their own choice surely.
They may have 1 or 2 more prep games to give the senior pros a run out in?

Quite a few first teamers played the first half which ended up 18-10 after going 0-10 down after the first 10 mins.

The second half was all second string players with the exception of Tuimavave yet we won the half 14-0 despite Wigan having more possession.

Wigan are famed for their academy and young players so for our 2nd string to do a job on their second string for the second 40mins was very encouraging.
