Rovers players were told pre-season that they couldnt coach any other clubs junior sides due to a link up that we had in the pipe-line with East Hull. A link up that i dont think even happened. If i had been Kris Welham in paricular i would have told Rovers to get stuffed.

Anyway, more sightings. Saw Lloyd Offori and several members of the Rovers under 16s Scholarship squad (who i wont name for obvious reasons) in Fuel.

Roger Millward was at the end of season presentation for my lads junior side in Kippax. I had to give my 10 year old a history lesson about what a great player really is.

One of my best mates married Johnny Whiteley's edest Granddaughter. He gave me a lift to Piper from the KC after we beat Bradford to get to the 2006 GF (took about 45 min to walk across the carpark to his car).

Also shared an hour or so with him between the dinner and the reception at the wedding last year. I drank a bottle of red, he drank coke and told me about the old GB tours.

45 mins? His legs must be on the way out....
