Looking at the 19 announced by CS, I reckon the absence of Keal Carlile means Scott Murrell is partnering Dobbo. If this is the case then IMO it will be a disaster; Scott is a nice lad and all that but he lacks pace, and will be severely exposed by Sinfield. However, Scotty does have a good record against the Rhinos so we might see him have his one inspired game of the season (I say in hope).

On a positive note, its good to see CS selecting the young guns; playing against the champions at MS3-CP will be massive for them. I’m hoping they settle down after last weeks introduction and put in solid performances.
For me, tomorrow’s game is about the senior players leading from the front. Webbo needs to forget about his aches and pains and show us he isn’t a spent force. In the pack, Ben Galea is in fine form but O’hara and Withers need to up their games and cut out the silly errors and ill-discipline that has crept back into their performances.

Can Rovers win or is it a case of damage limitation? I read a comment on the HDM threads how a supporter is an eternal optimist. That sums me up as well! As long as the team put in a creditable performance then I will be happy.

Judging by the posts on Twitter, Sandys keeping to his pledge to stick by the youngsters that did so well last week. Quite looking forward to seeing how they go, win lose or draw so long as they give 100% you can't ask any more.

They did ok thanks.

Sheriffe- Excellent game and a great prospect. Confident and mature in his play.

Salter- Strong, hardworking and could do to go on loan to get regular gametime should he find himself out of the team.

Griifin- Great running and defending against a good leeds pack, did not look out of place at all. Very impessed.

Peterson- A real 100% player, good grafter, could do to fill out a bit as he looks a bit lightweight in my opinion.

Throw in James Green, Jordan Cox, Chris Heil etc, the future looks very good indeed.

Agree with most of that apart from Salter. I think he looks quite capable of holding down a first team spot, and seems to be improving steadily as he gets more game time.

Cant see them getting a game with Hull with future internationals such as Green and Lineham coming through (
