Not so long since Chester was beating his chest about campese playing a friendly. Like I've already said, won't play 10 games.

I haven't seen anywhere suggesting he will miss half a season, but Chester leaves the door open for the existing speculation about the 1st month/6 weeks to grow. I fear the worst.

When Chester says marsh is playing so well campese will find it hard to get back in you know the truth.

I recall when campese got injured,chester said its not too bad and he may miss a fortnight.I think we have missed a trick here,campo missed a lot of games for canberra in backend in oz and was a risk when he came over,but now the other knee is not good either is he worth the risk ? Been a great player and was terrific for us at the start of last year,but time catches up with us all iam afraid.

I just feel with his age,injury record in recent times,and being in such a key position we could have maybe made another inquiry about josh drinkwater who,ripped it up in west tigers reserve grade last season and who we tried to sign last season,when campo got injured.

OK, hands up. I was overly optimistic. HDM article has just confirmed that Campo is likely to miss the first month of the season.

Shaun Lunt needs an ankle clear out op and is likely to be out for a similar amount of time.

Larroyer also out for an unspecified period, although for me, he's no big loss.

With no strength in depth at half back, it's very likely we could be looking at another poor start.

What a total shock,campese not fit,as I posted earlier we should have been looking for some cover at halfback,because in my humble opinion,matty marsh is not the answer and as blakeys robin said,we will be lucky to get 10 games from campo.

He's got ability but so far the character of a door mat. Needs to be aggressive and so far he hasn't.

Chisholm pulled off some game changing plays for us in the super 8s. Thought he got better each game and pulled off some wonder plays.

Really didn't.

Interception try at Leigh is all Chisholm achieved.

I'm not saying that Marsh is a saviour, but Chisholm was fundamentally out played by Marsh.

This is where our lack of youth shows up.

I've watched Marsh for about three years, in Friday night under nineteen games when I come over as I usually do he's stood out.

I always felt he outshone Beharrell.

I'll probably be proven wrong but it highlights the issue with British RL, we're just not producing.

Chisholm had flashes of showing what he had, usually when a play had gone wrong and he kind of improvised, can't remember which game it was in the 8's but he should have kicked, didn't looked like getting nailed in his own half on the last and ended up creating a great try. 9 out of 10 times that ends badly but fair play it came off. The rest of the time he looked totally knackered after the smallest burst of energy.
I'd rather go with Marsh than signed Chisholm, as the goose says he had small flashes of something but again he was behind a mostly beaten pack with crap runners off him, thought Albert looked crap on Sunday apart from his late chip over, his kicking was awful.
