As the anti-tampering deadline (punchline?) has passed, I think that the usefulness of that quote, of which I know you are very fond, has lapsed. And HKR have still not confirmed any signings or made any promises.
Also worth bearing in mind (and continuing my frankly brilliant brover's keeper riff), it is possible for people to support the same club and yet have different opinions. Being held to account for what I have said by the quotabase is one thing, but I imagine you wouldn't like it if I held you to account for everything Jake the Peg, Hoaxpro, Standee, Smallears, James Rule et al said. |

Morgan is the club's spokesperson and is on Humberside or in the HDM most days talking about it. Hudgell criticised clubs for distracting from a disappointing season with talk of signings for the following season before the season had ended. Rovers have slipped 3 places this year, so with the end of the season pass discount period coming up, it's a bit, well, convenient to have him talking about Green and Mason on a regular basis. Iif they've not signed, arguably that makes it worse as you might feel duped by this relentless fancy talk in the media. |
