Dwayne Barker has been out of the pro game since the end of the 2009 season and is currently playing at stand-off for amateur side Oulton Raiders. Doesn't look like he'll be playing for a professional side in 2011 either. Shame, as I always rated him as a talented player with a lot to offer.

| Been watching a couple of games from 7-9 years ago the last few days, e.g. that classic (for it's time) play-off game at Rochdale in 2003. Would have loved to have seen what players like Paul Mansson and Ally Mac could have done in SL in a team like we have now.   |

Whilst im thankful to him in his efforts getting him to super league, a quick look on the sl stats site shows he played 20 super league games for us and scored twice.
Not a good enough return for a super league centre and so I can understand why he was let go. Not knocking the guy but, especially back then when we had promotion and relegation to worry about, tough decisions had to be made and ultimately, he was given a crack and didnt do well enough. |

Chris Charles spent a season with a French club as player/coach.When he came back to England he took a role in RL development, I believe in the Castleford area. |
