Drop of next season and I think ul see Leeds and saints back up there and Wigan and wire start to drop of a bit. Watch out for catalans they will be up there to.

Think we will be an early leader and a bit of luck on the injury front we could finish in the top 3.
I would be worried if I was a Huddersfield, St Helens and Hull FC fan due to poor recruitment and the loss of key players. Whilst we have lost Vella and Newton we have good replacements (on paper) and a far better full back. Clinton, Mika, Paea, Taylor, Watts, Cox, Wheeldon, Lovegrove, O'Hara and Galea as the power up front and the best half back combo in SL we are looking strong. With Webster and welham in the centres and 2 very good wingers on the outside of them we are looking good. The players I am looking forward to seeing the most are Withers and Hall, Hall this year as the first choice winger will be our top try scorer. Withers play around the ruck will give us a new dimension
to last year.'"

| I would expect us to beat Catalans, Hudds, Widnes, London, Cas, Wakey, Hull, Salford, Wakefield at home. With a chance of beating Leeds too. I would expect to go to Widnes, London, Cas, Wakey and Salford and win. Thats 30 points as a minimum expectation. Good enough for the 8 last season. The season will be made or broken by how we perform against the top 4.

Hence the reason most of our fans are deluded. Why would u expect to beat Catalan, hudds, cas and hull at home? They are all good sides who we shouldn't expect to just beat.

| You're knocking the lad for predicting a good Rovers season, I'm not as convinced myself - I'd prefer to write us off as having a gap year and welcome whatever success we have. What I do find funny, is that while your all laughing at plugwash for his Rovers predictions, your failing to realise that he's also predicted Wire as finishing first, that won't happen and in my opinion, is funnier than Rovers finishing 3rd.

| Pugwash, I reckon Saints have recruited strongly and, having bloodied so many youngsters last season, will push Wigan and Warrington and pip them by the odd point for the minor-premiership. I don't think they will win the play-off - I reckon Smithy will make sure Warrington don't run out of steam and are my favourites to pick up that trophy.
I also think Catalans will improve again with Pryce adding another ingredient. Leeds will be solid but will have a similar season like last year with an aging squad.
Here's my prediction:
1. St Helens
2. Wigan
3. Warrington
4. Catalan
5. Leeds
6. Hull KR
7. Hull FC
8. Huddersfield
9. London
10. Bradford
11. Wakefield
12. Castleford
13. Salford
14. Widnes
I agree with you about the Giants, imo they are in transition like the other teams I position from 6th to 11th. I cannot see any of these teams breaking into the upper top-5 tier next season. With this in mind my 6-11 is much more of a stab in the dark and I hope Rovers can top this middle tier.
I think London and Wakefield will do far better than many expect but will be squeezed out of a very tight dog fight for 8th place. I think Castleford will flatter to deceive and fall away, whilst my bottom 2 will struggle from day one.

We'll win/lose games which we probably shouldn't, but overall I hope we're more consistent and close the gap to the teams above us. I don't think we'll surge up the table but if things go our away 4-6th isn't outta' the question.
The rest - top 3 will be battling it out between themselves again, think Graham will be a massive loss to Saints, but they'll still be better than most. Hudds form dropped alarmingly but I still see them in that group above us. Leeds will be there or thereabouts again. Cats, who knows - but there's no reason why they won't kick on again. Then ourselves and Hull, doubt there will be too much separating us. Cas/Bradford/Salford/Quins - no idea. Just guessed.

Not at all, they've got just as much right to say they should be beating us as we have of beating them. I hope we beat them but I don't go around expecting to as if the players go and do that we would get hammered
