IMO it would seem strange to have two players of similar ability (why else would we be having this debate) and choosing to play another team's player ahead of our own.

Welham has looked much better against Saints and Wigan I think and I don't think dropping Eden and replacing him with Cockayne would do us any good.
Centres and wingers need time to build partnerships in order to be most effective, chopping and changing positions is not the way to do this.

Another good showing from the Hammersmith Express yesterday. If this continues, I may have to revise my thinking on the subject. Is that allowed on this forum, or are opinions cast in concrete?

Watching Gardner, mainly in warm up and he didn’t seem very integrated with the team, seemed very isolated and not taking part in any of the ‘groupy’ stuff. Maybe nothing in it but was certainly noticable.

It was rumoured on another thread yesterday.

After effectively writing off Caro in my own mind last season, it seems a bit of humble pie is in order. He's been the pick of Rovers' backs this season. He seemed suspect in his handling last season but so far everything has stuck, including some extremely difficult takes from bad passes. His kick returns have also improved markedly.

In fairness, I thought Ade Gardener also had a good game yesterday, particularly in defence.

The Hammersmith Express has just arrived!

Absolutely outstanding from Omari today,in attack and defence.The improvement from last season is incredible.Should've been M.O.M today by a mile.

Yep, two tries, would have a had a hat trick if Welham had found him, two try saving tackles and n assist form The Hammersmith Express.

Taking the ball in very well and backing himself to do it. Really great defence for his push on Collis, he shouted to Keating to take his man and force the pass to Collis who looked nailed on to score.

You have to take a lot of credit Sandra for his transformation

Both Caro and Gardner played well today. I wonder if it would be possible to get an extension on Gardners month

The fickle finger of fate pointed his way when he sat down to dinner with me and he hasn't looked back since, apart from to check if the cover defence is going to catch him, which it won't.

And, to blow my own trumpet once again, I was saying that he had a tonne of potential last year.

Both, they are playing well, Caro is 200% improved on last season and Gardner is a proven class winger who gets through a ton of work.

So pleased to be wrong in my opinion that Caro wasn't up to it. Just couldn't see it after the Salford game last year, thought he was quick but that's it. This year wow! Proving a point and good on the lad, chuffed for him.
