Salford and Huddersfield are now must wins. No second chances. Performances have to be top notch, no error rugby. Or the threat of relegation that was scoffed at during the fans forum is becoming more real every week.

Some Salford 'fans' are imploding on Twitter, due to Man Utd playing at the same time, and splitting their allegiance. It could be a very sply populated stadium on Friday and after yesterday's loss to Leigh it will be interesting to see how the Salford side reacts!

Leigh beating a Super League club will ensure that the three weakest SL clubs in the middle 8's all start to twitch a little. At this point it would appear that yourselves and Hudds is the most likely Million Pound game. If that happens and Danny Brough is in the correct frame of mind....happy days.

Talking out of your 'arris as usual. Nothing at all has changed in what we need to do, and having watched Rovers push Leeds all the way on Friday, we certainly have nowt to fear from Leigh.

I don't think the Salford result is bad for you bad for Salford yes and expect a performance from them Friday, you will beat all the championship clubs your do or die I still feel is the giants at home which you JUST got over in regular super league if you lose that its MPG and squeaky bum time, the only thing this weekends results prove is London are as good as Leigh and putting more points on Batley than you puts your result against them in perspective the trip there will be a tricky one as well this week as blow these qualifiers wide open and got the super league team worried I'm sure

Definitely. If Leigh manage to do the business against Fev and Batley that'll take them to 8 points. Don't expect them to win against your lot as it's at your ground but I wouldn't like to be Hudds having to travel to Leigh after yesterday showed they can beat a SL team (and one that strolled past Hudds the week before). Win that and they should be top 3.

Also Leigh play us (Leeds) the final week at Headingley. Now IF Leeds have managed to secure their safety by then we could well be resting/not selecting any players that need to go off for post season operations which could make things interesting.

Leigh beating Salford has sent out a message very early in the relegation 8's. This has not happened in the relegation 8's before. The relegation 8's decider was always likely to be between two of four clubs with Leigh as the most likely candidate. Today's result suggests it may not be as cut and dried in the relegation 8's as previous seasons.

God i have heard it all know ,read some of the posts back and see how many were praying for us to get beat in the semi, read back all the stuff said about players coach ect and you call us bitter

Said all along we would be in the middle eights and would be fine and there is no reason to think anything different, we won't even be in the MPG so people should just calm down.

More concerning is the planning for next year which is unraveling at a rate. Macca has knocked us back. Scrabbling about for Matterson or God forbid Morgan with 3 months to pre season represents a handicap on recruitment and preparation that is very serious. If we want to make up ground on Salford, Castleford, Wakefield and Widnes which all have solid coaching in place we need to get our in order or it's rewind and repeat.
