It is imperative that one uses lard in pastry for it to be delicious and also as the fat for Yorkshire puddings so it gets hot enough.

Nowt wrong with lard. Nowt wrong with anything in moderation. My philosophy is eat what you like, but small portions and stop when you start to feel full. Do not clear your plate for the sake of it.

I agree to be honest, even when you do these silly diets which include low/half fat alternative you only put the weight back on!!
I tend to cut down on carbs now it sort of works...but I get bored easily and end up eating 2 toasted teacakes lathered in butter!

That is my philosophy as well, I am just poor at putting it into practice I mean at what point do you stop munching on things like monkey nuts ? moderation implies a handful! I need more than a handful.

I lost a stone and a half after the second child by only eating half of what was put in front of me. It took me a year but it stayed off. People said "Appalling waste!" but not really, if not into the dog or the husband it would only have gone down my neck and kept me fat.

Apart from drinks, of course. The full glass was the exception.

I cannot eat large meal tbh, my problem is I am a picker I got a mug from a friend at work which state 'fridge pickers wear bigger knickers'



My weight was stable for years, even after all my children I had no problem getting back into 10/12, I was diagnosed with polyistic ovary sydnrome a few years ago and that has affected my weight, plus age I suppose, I find it more difficult to shift weight, I have kind of resigned myself to being a 14, it may not be considered a big size but I am only 5 4'..

That is the thing I enjoy more about my size now, my boobies are ace!

Oh I hate my boobs, I can't bear to look at them. Breastfeeding 2 kids has ruined them completely, I'd love to have a lift but I couldn't spend that much money on myself. My best bits are my wrists, I quite like my collar bones too.

I like my fingers, lovely nails although I have never had false ones I have always looked after them and get frequent pedicures..I now have to file them down to an inch of their lives due to my new role
