I assume there'll be a consultation and Kooga will present options for the club to choose from. It is fair to blame Kooga for manufaturing issues IMO, less so for design - unless they completely ignore guidance/advice from the club. There must have been a pretty convincing sales pitch or 'vision' to get that Wigan one through the net. That is why they call it [upower[/upoint - it has the power to make bad ideas look good; temporarily.

I love the way Kooga are getting the blame for shirt designs, they work the same way every other supplier does.

Sheet of sample designs to guide you, if you want something totally different you can change the design to whatever you want and the colours are chosen by the club also.

All Kooga do is design to the clubs spec and then make the sample to show them what it would look like!!

Why on Earth, when you employ a sports company to produce a shirt, who will have professional designers working for them, and then say;

"Oh, we don't like what your professional designer has done, and although we have absolutely no idea what we're doing and have completely no experience of shirt design, we'll do it ourselves. It'll be reet"

No, actually it won't be right, it will be sheeeite.

The design is done by Kooga's design team but following full instructions from the customer (Rovers)

For example 'do me a white shirt with red dots all over the front and red stars on the back' And put 'I love Big Willie' along the hem line on the back of the shirt'. 'Oh, and whilst your at it I want a big yellow streak across the front'

Then the designer will work to that spec.

So you cant blame Kooga for doing as they are told.

We don't even know what our shirts are going to be like think we need to see them first then decide if we like it. Fans will buy the shirts if not one or both to support our club that's what were supposed to do ain't it. I think we could be in for a nice surprise I'm talking of big Willie been present .....

Kooga are a bit more professional than to give clubs what they are given and lump it, people seem to think there is some designer off his head on LSD giving clubs wacky designs and forcing them to run with it!!

Yeah wasn't very impressed, only a handful of NRL training tees, the rest of their gear was balls, general training tops (e.g. the odd one or two Kooga ones), indoor & outdoor footballs, etc.

They did have a few Hull & Rovers 80's-style cotton shirts which looked pretty smart, but otherwise nothing much in there.

I have got some very exclusive replica wear coming from Italy, you can have first dibs my friend.
