Broadly I think that it has been designed by a company with no prior experience of building a stand/stadium and that inexperince shows. Toilets sufficient for a normal building of its size, but not for the half-time rush of a sports venue for example (tbf, not something I'd ever thought about before). And then sub-optimal execution.

Passed the ground yesterday and they were starting on tarmacking the car park in front of the North stand. The lampposts were in and they didn't look far off finishing the granite paths

whatever they are, they are clearly visible from outside...

I cannot understand how a modular build of this sort would need diagonal support as its essentially bolt n build..and surely any diagonal bracing should have taken place in less visible places..

but when you see this sort of thing you can understand why Neil had misgivings...

Was at the ground on Saturday for a wedding and it looked pretty good from the pitch side the North Stand. Only thing I thought was odd was that the roof doesnt look like it covers a lot of the seats I think first 10 rows might get wet.

Still be good if they open it on Derby days to Fc fans, I will start going again.

Went after work last night. You get a good view from the new stand. I'm so impressed that i think i'll get my pass for there next year.

I can see a lot of fans from west and east moving to the new stand. Have to say I now prefer to sit at games, particularly with having a couple of kids. Makes things much easier
