Just seem to be a lot of rumours about him going to Cas/Wigan/Penrith and apparently he got that much abuse in the HP bar doing his presentation after the game that he walked out. Hudgell will obviously back his man, but if the fans are turning against him it puts more pressure on both of them to seek a change.

Thing is, if he stays, I'm certain the bulk of the OOC players will be re-signed and that will guarantee a similar pattern next season. JM is coaching all the flair out of the team and a shake up of the coaching staff and team is now overdue. If Morgan stays, he needs to be ruthless and let a few go to create space to bring in some new troops. I don't trust him to do this, he's way too close to his favourites (and this isn't limited to Aussies).

Maybe were getting a bit restless now, I'm all for giving Morgan a chance but if the players arnt turning up and performing for what ever reason be it, Morgan, contracts, Mason Dobbo leaving they should still try and put in a half decent performance,I knew we wudnt win today but a challenge would have been good, our forwards were non existent today and against a side like wire that's a no no.

Whilst abuse is the lowest form of criticism, Morgan should be man enough to front up. He's taken the good now he's taking the bad.
Maguire and Brown would have taken the abusers to task before taking their ball home.

Murrell is so fat and unfit when he jogged out for the second half he stopped halfway for a breather. Oh and he was the big hooker to oppose the Wire forwards because Fisher wasnt up to it!

I have always maintained that Morgan is overrated..For me he is a similar coach to Kear who can raise and build a team however not in the same league as say Tony Smith..Morgan can talk the talk but the bottom line is amazingly Agars SL achievements are above Morgans, hard to believe but true..

For me the sign of a really good coach is one who can do well in the face of adversity...again amazingly so far Morgan is failing and Agar is performing (it is not all about 1/2 derby games)

Though when you consider the money spent on Walker and then Mason since 2008, that money needs to be spent on a player next year who's actually going to be on the pitch.

Morgan achieved what was asked in getting HKR up and keeping them up when the stakes couldn't have been much higher. We then consolidated and were competitive (if not quite competing). His achievements don't match Smith's - but tbf, is he often mentioned in the same breath on here? The comparison with Kear is fair enough and far from damning, IMO.




I'm not sure which goalposts you're using, but they must be slightly odd ones. Last I looked, Morgan's SL win ratio was slightly the better, even including 2007 when 10 wins represented success. 2008 (partly Sharp's fault, I know), 2009, 2010 Morgan did better in the competition (for clarity - as opposed to the league). If you mean just this season, then fair enough - but it has take me until now to consider this, so either I'm dull-witted or you're too vague.






Agar's doing okay. In the past he's faced significant adversity. Not sure I've seen the two together yet, but what doesn't kill you...
We're plop and in all honesty haven't had [ithat[/i much adversity either - and what there's been, I don't think is the underlying cause. Just lost our mojo a bit... a lot.
