If he was here with Burnsie and a HDM rep on the same show they would have been falling over each other trying to claim the "You heard it here first" card as it was a throw away comment by one guest and laughed off by all present I would put pennies on the fact he is still sat in the sun. As stated elswhere he is such a high profile player in Australia the chances of him packing his bags and sneaking on a plane to the UK, then getting through the airport at Heathrow or Manchester without being recognised are pretty slim. I would expect every RL journo on both sides of the planet are poised with the "Exclusive Willie on the plane to Super League" headline on their laptops and as such the minute the club get the nod over his visa they will make an imediate announcement as they activate his plane ticket sat at the travel company gathering dust.

A little birdie told me she works in the visa department and she is witholding Willies visa as she will have f'ck all to post about once he's here

I would imagine its because he has already lived in england, so it may push your application up the que.

He did say it would take 5 - 10 working days, how would he know it would take that long? if others like Mason dont know how long it will take.

It took Hauraki a little under 3 months from signing for Leeds to getting sorted. When Gary Hetherington was complaining about this it was a work permit problem rather than a visa issue that he referred to (the distinction: [urlhttp://www.workpermit.com/uk/employee2.htm[/url). A few people have claimed that Mason has his visa and the club have only talked vaguely about a final piece of documentation. If we use Hauraki's situation as precedent and 7th January as a start date, that'd mean early April. Lot's of ifs, but that is my theory until mid-April.

To be honest it's all starting to do my head in now why dont we just lock the Mason threads if or until he arrives then we can discuss things that are actually happening, it's been weeks now since we have had an update, the crusaders club are at least telling they're fans sumet like they're having a meeting with the border agency, why are we not doing the same sumet just does not weigh up, that gut feeling I had about him Been here must have been a dodgy curry I ate lol.
