Tried via my tablet onto my television.

Work really well, mini HDMi to normal cable and away you go. Obviously the picture quality suffers a little going from a 10" screen to a 42" but it's great to be able to watch it on the television.

Just wish that Rovers would sort the web site out, had a text from a friend to say it had taken him multiple attempts to buy it as it kept disappearing from the basket every time he tried to go to check out.

I think the club have missed a trick to be honest. If they'd made pre-season games available free of charge it may have given people the bug and then bought the full package for the season. A few other clubs have heard but are unsure of the quality of the recordings and think it will be poor coverage. We that have it obviously know it is pretty good as long as you're not expecting Sky type quality!

Maybe the club could make these games or just say the derby game free as a promotion type thing. Now that they are over and there is a lot of interest from other clubs' supporters it could be a little extra income.

What the club need to do is have a PPV service up and running as quick as is humanely possible. £3 per game and every1 is laughing especially Rovers.

That is a very cheap price but worth a go for sure. Like I said an income not currently being taken advantage of by other clubs. Certainly see other teams going in this direction though.

When that chap over on the Wigan board found free access, My first thoughts were that it was purposely done to gauge reaction from away supporters, Last time I looked on that particular link it had 102 hits, potentially (Not allowing for people replaying) £306? Not bad and I'm sure it ended up with more.

Not read the whole thread but whats the turnaround time for getting games on there? Is there a set time after a game we'll be able to view it?

TBH i thought the commentry on the fc game was a tad controled and fair,perhaps it was just a friendly or perhaps utter professionalism.
Twas still very good.

The commentary is pretty decent.

Just doesnt need to talk as much but that will come as he's obviously used to radio. Also would be better with a co commentator, possible ex player to give us some insight. Maybe an injured player, or even a youngster to give him some expeirence in handling the media.

Very impressed with HKR tv so far.

I'm the first to take the mick out of the commentator, but I quite like it. It's Hull KR TV, doesn't need to be unbiased, gets his passion for Rovers across, something the the vast majority of the audience will share.

For the ultimate in this art, check out Mick Martin (I think that's his name) on Cas's website. Utter brilliance, think that darts commentator, Syd something, but about one hundred times more extreme.

Gary Wilkinson did co-commentary for some games at least, last year (DVDs). iirc.

He loves, nay adores, Ganson and was constantly enthusing about his consistency. again iirc.

Hi Guys got a couple of questions regarding the Hull KR TV (sorry if they have been asked and answered, I just couldn’t be bothered to read page after page or FC dross).

First question is does anyone have any idea what the turn around time is on games? I.e. play on Sunday then games or posted up on Tuesday.
Second question is, will the away coverage be as good as the home coverage? multiple camera angles and commentary and so on

I would like to subscribe but I can't find if the games can be viewed as & when I want & how long they stay on the system? I will be traveling a lot this year (I will miss a lot of games on my season ticket) & KR TV looks a good deal but if the games are only on for a few days it will be a waste as I will be away weeks at a time & not allways have internet accsess, If anyone knows the answers or who will know I would be greatfull.

I'd assume an email direct to Joe Clutterbrook would be your best option, I'm not sure if I can post his email address here but it's readily available on the Hull KR website.

I'm guessing the games will be on all season as even now last seasons highlights are still viewable. They will certainly be on Hull KR TV for at least a few months if not the full season.
