I heard Senior wants a contract till the end of 2013 which ought to rule Rovers out. I would say Cas are favourites to sign him.

I would hope so. I could just about stomach a deal until the end of this season, but by next year Salter & Heil should be pushing Welham for a starting shirt.

Senior was at the game on sunday, but it wasnt because hes signing. Hes got family in the area (sutton i think) and was watching some of the younger members of the family play. Pretty sure someone mentioned he also put it in twitter for those that know how to do that stuff.

he was also on 5 live extra commentating and he nealy let slip he has signed for some one but shut up when asked to say who

I cant see it myself, there were one or two names been banded about in the Harry poole bar on sunday but Lynne wasn't one of them.
i believe that although the club do have their target players in mind thats all they are at this point in time, there will be a lot of names in the hat at the moment but a lot of negotaiting to be done between now and the end of the season.

The two that i heard mentioned were both overseas players but as i stated earlier these are only rumoured targets at present nothing set in stone so to speak, i believe one of them has already been mentioned somewhere earlier in this thread.

I can tell you that Brett Finch's agent was at Rovers the other Saturday ......with Clint (i am not going to even try and spell his name) the fullback that played for the crusaders who I do belive is his buisness partner (the agents).
