IMO the Board and Smithy know last season was an 'annus orribulous' - they have all been on the receiving end of criticism from many fans, me included - and as such need to be cut some slack. I say this because of what is in the pipeline both on and off the field, and I dont particularly want to go to the forum dragging up the past when the future looks red and white.

The question I will be asking (of our new coach) is how he sees Dobbo & Green playing for him. I don't know how many times I pleaded with Morgs to abandon his crazy left/right attacking format. For me, half backs need to work and link off each other and not be separated as they were under Morgs.

No matter what happened this season, I'm sure the BOD did everything for the good of the club. Sure mistakes were made but these guys put in their time/effort/money to try and keep us moving fwd - including Mike Smith. Abuse really isn't merited

Some people never cease to amaze me, why on earth should we come down hard as you put it, on a board of directors that have bent over backwards to get the club where it is now from where it came only a few short years ago.
They have spent much of their own money and still do to ensure the clubs running costs are met, at least until such a time when the club is breaking even and hopefuly into profit at some point in the future, they are also as passionate about the club as we the ordinary fans are and desperatly want success.
Rome certainly wasnt built in a day and i for one believe the current board have done wonders in a relativlely short period of time, i certainly have every faith in them and the belief that they will bring success to this great club of ours in the future.
Perhaps you would prefer to see the previous Hull board running the club, though i cant imagine anyone been that masochistic.

I think ALL fans forums are a waste of time,Whilst the clubs are duty bound to do them they rarely provide any information that isn't already out there in the media. Most questions(especially the awkward ones) are met with a response that it's something they're either looking at,hoping to announce soon,at a delicate stage in the proceedings etc etc. All Hudgell has to do is brief Sandercock to display a dislike to FC,say how much he's looking forward to beating us and finishing above us AGAIN, sing red red robin,say they're looking at major tagets in Australia,laugh at Hidges thinly veiled verbal attacks on FC and 95% of those attending will be wetting themselves with excitement and the jobs a good un.

sorry besty but i disagree i have been to many a forum apart from tonight Im working in liverpool. there has been information given to the fans THAT wasnt in media and hdm have carried the news the next day. It also allow fans to ask question to the board some in past have been to the bone. not all the questions asked are asked by the board's yes people.

I know what you're saying,but the tasty questions rarely get answered in any sort of meaningful way. You can almost hear the sigh in the room among fellow punters when anyone asks a difficult question as if it's showing some form of negativity or mistrust. It's the same at every club. The keyboard warriors are also suddenly dissapear.

Can't believe that Humberside didn't broadcast this, just had a look on iplayer and what they say is the forum is actually some dullard playing awful records.

I wonder how yesterdays announced cut backs will affect them?
