Doubt it. I bet there's no examples at all of active and unoffensive threads being deleted with the added juxtoposition that a mod is losing the argument. There may be the odd libellous example though. And the original survivor thread was deleted to avoid confusion with the ongoing tasks. But, until you, I've never known a tame but drifted thread to be deleted as people were still commenting, like ours was. Locked, yes. Deleted, no.

But if you want Mild Rover to adjudicate, then I will abide by his, always honest, judgment.

Threads sometimes get binned. I'm lazy, so I tend to let them slide, but sometimes it can look messy if there are several. Why a particular thread is deleted - you can request an explanation and form an opinion as to its validity, but then we're done and we move on.
