We heard nothing from Rovers supporters in the offseason but almost embarrassment at the exceptional level of depth your squad had this season in every position, so much so that Mason was almost dismissed as an unnecessary luxury. You have one half back, one prop and one back row forward out and suddenly this is the difference between success and failure? OK then.  |

Can you explain this to me please as i dont get it at all.
Your poor with a shocking coach, where poor with a decent coach (but no direction at all without Dobbo, Newts or Vella)
Why should that make us worried about our team? were just unfortunate that our key players that direct people and talk on the field are out at the same time. I just dont get how we should be worried at all, Upset that were doing this poor with a great set of players yes i am - but nothing to be worried about, just stuck in a rut at the minute.
And can you also please explain the difference we have in ambitions aswell please, as my ambitions are for Rovers to do the league and cup double - not saying its going to or even likely to happen. But im still hoping for us to get a good cup draw in each round and when the tougher games come up we will have players back so i still think thats a realistic target to have.
Do you not have these ambitions? Or are you saying where not as ambitious as you because were doing badly at the moment but not everyone is calling for Morgans head? If to then you need to look up what ambition actually means. |

Who cares how big the crowds in London are SKY certainly dont & they own the super league lock stock & barrel. As long as they are paying for us to be full time pro then they get what they want. I expect that there will be another semi pro club in London next year. I keep hearing the call to help the heartland clubs well I am sorry to say that is a non starter now as very few of the clubs outside super league have a big enough base to grow. Rovers are struggling to catch up with FC the only other clubs in any position to do well are the Leeds based Hunslet (who had bigish crowds in the 50,s & 60,s) Oldham & Widnes. The cost of running a fully pro side of 25 plus players has pushed our sport out of the small towns forever & we have to live with that. To go back to semi pro would kill the game & union would take all our players & probably our clubs as well.
