Totally inaccurate there. WE approached Mason, and his agent made it clear from the off that it was highly unlikely that he would consider a move away from Australia. We put an offer on the table in the HOPE that he'd have a change of heart, which was always going to be a long shot. Never did Mason indicate that he would like to join us in order to get better offers down under.

He spoke about it at the recent Fans Forum live on the Radio.
He did stop short of saying we had made an official offer but he alluded to it.

I'd take the bloke tbh always thought he was a nifty player would certainly do a job for us although i'd like to see the ginger general stick around for a while longer

Hope Webbo shows his class in the coming season rather than justify being replaced. He's been great for us over the last few years though. Just poor defensively due to his size.
