Sheriffe isn't that fast. Fox is fast but not as fast as you make him out to be.

Fastest in the league is Donald, Roberts does seem to have lost a yard of pace, because in the NRL his pace was freakish yet still faster than Fox.

Your underestimating Sheriffe's pace, id still back Fox over Donald and i havent seen enough of Roberts really to say in all honesty.

Fair enough assessment, would disagree about Fox being the fastest. Nobody kows that, unless they all had a 100m sprint with a ball in their hand. He has genuine pace but that does not automatically make a great player and neither does not having lightening speed.

Surely you are forgetting thr"arrow from barrow" ade gardner and "Roger meli the man from the tele"?

I'm yet to see Foxy been beaten for pace while he's been with us.

Gardner could be the slowest man in the league, as he only seems to get the ball in the oppositions 10metres away from line while he is falling over it. Thats all he seems to do.

I agree with all of that, Rod Jensen had lightning speed, but couldn't hold on to the ball or tackle, hence no longer in the UK.

I agree, it's impossible to tell how fast he actually is because we never give him the ball with space in front of him



I like Foxy, but to be quite honest if you took him out of our side now and replaced him with someone like Fitzhenry, I doubt very much we'd notice much difference.

Thats not a criticism of him, although I don't think he's quite as good as some people are making out (perhaps due to a general lack of decent english wingers) I just don't feel we utilise his full capabilities. We would be a better side if we did IMO.

Missed my point mate. I agree, and his running from dummy half and his defence is excellent and he gets through tonnes of work, but as far as basic wing play goes, Fox is much better than Fitzy, but we're starving him of the ball out wide.

My point was that from an attacking point of view, you could put any winger there and it wouldn't be that much different because we're not giving him enough ball. As I said, we'd be a better side if we used his pace and finishing abilities more often than we do.

At the sponsors evening the other week a DVD of last seasons trys was being shown.
When the Fox try was shown from Catalans away where he strolled around Greenshields without having a finger laid on him Ben Galea told me he is the fastest he has played with or against.
Considering he is the all time West Tigers appearance holder thats some endorsement.

Calderwood faster then Fox, some of the things being said on here are quite funny.

Another one who is faster than Fox is Justin Murphy, along with Donald they are they two fastest in the league. Alothough Murphy doesn't have much more to his game.

I would be willing to wager a bet on Fox beating Donald, Murphy, Calderwood and Lee Smith in a straight foot race.

Fox is very quick.

Paul White at Salford and Kevin Penny at Wires are much faster. Give him his due though Fox is the quickest to kiss the badge
