Its already been agreed that should it be necessary floodlights will be hired from SKY as previously until such time as the new ones are installed.

There is a Camera mounted on the East stand pointing at the North stand build.
They had issues with the wi-fi card in the timelapse camera and are
currently waiting for a new one to be delivered.

You could view it through the HKR TV homepage. It lasted about a day before
it went down.

Easty is correct. My first ship was H.M.S Brilliant (F90)
A type 22 Frigate that was sold to Brazil in 1996.

Never served on a type 23 but got to work on a few when I was shoreside.
I took the kids a couple of times when the Iron Duke docked in Hull.
Just to show them how tough we had it.

Anything associated with the word "frigate" gets me going, though.

I left the Navy in 2001 so never got to see the Type 45. The look smart as though with not a single right angle to keep the radar signature to a minimum, even the boats are stowed away inside the ship, Nice armaments aswell. Hated working on the 23's as the vertical sea wolf missile system for me was a waste of money. When the 23's get Caams in 2016 they'll be a much more well balanced ship and glad they eventually replaced the sonar for an ASUW ship it was useless. The type 26's looks to the future but that's 10 years away.

I've not been aboard either, I've spent a fair amount of time on sites where kit is made for them though, the Towed-array is an amazing bit of kit.

Tis true though, the 22 frigs are only there to make us look busy - they serve no actual purpose compared to destroyers.
