Hehe, it's great to see Josh doing so well - he's a talent. And it's good to see he's being looked after by yourselves. Good result, sounds like a nerve wrenching game.

The kids reading of the game is exceptional, a Cas player caught the ball behind the line and Josh dragged him INTO play and then into touch to give us head and feed from 10m out rather than a Westerman 50m drop out, very quick to follow up kicks as well. Hope he stays until the end of the season.

| not seen a single negative to say about the lad. and i agree about the international thing so long as he becomes a first team regular. if wigan not gonna play him i'd love him to sign for us. cant see it long term tho, although his taste of super league with us might just ,ake him ask a few questions with wigan exactly where he fits in their plans

| Well I hope Wigan would let him play against us at Craven Park, especially with us having sealed 1st now but I think an RFL rule may not allow it. Although Kevin Brown played against us, and scored, whilst on loan at Huddersfield. Should be a cracking game that one in 3 weeks. Wigan with 12 wins away from home this season with Hull KR being one of the toughest away trips. In fact your home record is better than ours would you believe at the moment.
Watching him in our academy teams on a regular basis over the last 2-3 years I kept telling Wigan fans last year that he'll be better than Shaun Ainscough because he's mentally stronger. I think a one year deal to Hull KR next year would be a cracking deal for both clubs but I wouldn't be surprised if he was sent somewhere on loan nearer to home.

And i'm afraid that you wont get him either!
Thankfully the days of Wigan releasing all our talented youngsters, are over.
Great to see him doing so well at KR - And huge raps to your club for giving him a chance.
BUT, his future is in Cherry n White.
I can see him staying for the remainder of the season - Then 'home' for 2011.
Sorry guys!

| Just seen Sky News Charnleys try under the sticks when he takes the ball out wide on the right - what a good effort.

Mills played for Harlequins against us this season while on loan, but TBH that was to our advantage.

| Seen him out and about in Hull and for a young lad he is huge!
Tbh I think we need him to stay for the remainder of this season and if Wigan still can't fit him in maybe a season long deal next year?

I never tend to look for the negatives and always look for positives and I believe if you play SL you have something to offer. I am never overly critical of anyone and don't wish to get in to the " not good enough for my club" mentality like the minority of some of them over the river.

| Really pleased that Josh is doing well for you guys. The deal has certainly benefited everyone concerned. I've seen Josh just get better and better since he first played for Wigan's academy a few years ago.I've been told many times just how hard he works at his game and in training, so its great to see him getting the plaudits for his performances.
Hopefully he will stay on loan with you till the end of the season, but I'd like to see him come back for next season and get an opportunity in our 1st team. I've a feeling once he gets in, he'll be really hard to shift.

Ti's true i tell ya.
Bobbing along speaks the truth. 99.9% of Rovers fans think he's rubbish. Three lucky tries on Sunday and four in four games means nowt.
Do yourself a favour get Wigan to get rid....and if he's passing East Hull JM may just be interested in giving him a run out...in the reserves.

Darrell Goulding played against us for Salford at the DW Stadium last season iirc.
Charnley will hopefully stay at HKR for the remainder of this season and continue his speedy development. As for next season I can really see him pushing hard for a place at Wigan. It wouldn't suprise me to see him push guys like Goulding for that right wing spot and he may be able to make it his own until a centre spot becomes available.
I'd let him play against us in a couple of weeks time and would do that regardless of league positions. I always think if you have the conviction to send out a lad on loan because you can't fit him in your side then you should have the guts to allow the lad a chance to play in each and every game he can.

| TBF I reckon the game against Wigan will be a dead game for the pies anyway as they should tie up the hubcap next week. A run out against Wigan will do him good. Not sure if they'll let him play against them at old trafford tho'.

Theres every chance they will I suppose. Alot will depend on wheather Amos Roberts is still at Wigan next year because theres a few rumours going around that he'll be heading home so we'll have to wait and see on that one.
If he does go home then the fullback position will be filled by either Richards or Sam Tomkins and a position on that left wing could open up for Charnley. He looks to be playing well enough to push somebody like Goulding for a spot aswell.
