Is it me or are the players awards night tonight a bit of a destraction for what is our biggest game of the last decade coming up?!
Personally after the season we've had, I'm amazed we're having one tbh.

I doubt it will be a distraction with 4 days to the game to go, it may even help them relax before what will be a very nervous occasion for players and fans alike.
Also, interacting with the fans tonight and seeing the loyalty and appreciation shown by them by way of awards been handed out to the players, despite the very poor season, just might act as inspiration.
Whether they should need inspiring in the first place is a discussion for another day.

Maybe a kick up the backside instead of an award could prove more useful.

I've stated often enough that it'd be better for Hull FC to have Hull KR in SL and I won't shift from that viewpoint any time soon.

I have to confess to being a little more than mildly amused when you lost to Huddersfield in the manner that you did but, having watched Salford recently, I thought that defeat was irrelevant as I didn't think you'd be in much danger of losing the MPG as they look like a team having already given up on SL.

I'll be watching on Saturday, may the best team win, and I'm sure if the absolute worst happens, then I can't see it being too long before our SL rivalry is rekindled.

Just a point of observation, seeing as abuse and swear words are considered as being against the AUP, is there not a case for the pathetic, juvenile and bitter avatar, used by Rover 2000 to be removed? Agree with this, went to Giants award night last Monday and had an inspiring battle cry from our Chairman. I felt much more confident that we were pumped up for the game afterwards.
