Thanks to who ever it was that mentioned naming our favourite song, about 16 hours in and I'd got it whittled down to about 60, then I keep remembering more. Different songs for different moods!

Yeah, there's no way I could list a favourite. I used to say Casablanca, but it isn't really, I could maybe narrow it down to top three's by genre.

Absolutely no chance with songs. Certain songs come on the radio or you rediscover them and I say; "Definite top ten this one". This list far exceeds ten.

I think Ms. Terrorist set some sort of holiday first.

Her natural skin tone is deathly pallor/light blue (think the Daz doorstep challenge kind of white), in the Mediterranean she feels a bit self conscious about this (as well us suffering several unpleasant incidents where local children have thrown stones at "The Ice Ghost" (Naples) and one where the people of a small out of the way Slovakian town wanted to "Burn the white witch as the crops will fail".) so decided to have a bit of a spray tan.

She's actually had one before, when we went to Sicily last year, but I think they only did one and it didn't really show through over the blueish hue.

This year the person who charges money for doing things one is perfectly capable of doing for oneself (cutting toe nails, buffing finger nails) decided to go for a deeper colour, not quite along the lines of The Duke, but less ghost like.

It looked fine, Ms. Terrorist felt happy about showing a very modest bit of leg and old ladies in black shawls did not throw garlic, make the sign of the cross or try to run her through with wooden stakes.

And then the hot rock massage and body scrub came along. San Tropez duly removed.

Now, keen readers will remember that good keeper's of gingers (Ginger Smiths) do not, under any circumstances allow them out of doors so the majority of the week was spent by the pool in the spa, reading books, playing backgammon and me making that irritating tsk tsk noise generated by having one's mp3 player on too loud. On the times we did brave the sun I made sure I lathered Ms. Terrorist in a reflective zinc based paint. this cannot be used much as the side effects can be serious.

Thus, I think Ms. Terrorist is possibly the first person to return from a su8n paradise type holiday paler than when she set out.

I have stopped for 20yrs next year went to oz on tour and while we were their every were we went you cant smoke so i said to the better half thats it it will come here so went to an hipnotis(spelling) and spent £60 best money i have ever spent

I've been wanting to give up for a while, this week is just a great opportunity, my smoking buddy at work is on holiday, the next two weekends activities would be quite difficult to smoke at so that should make that easier and then we go to New York at the end of October and you can't even smoke outside in New York.

I'm just doing cold turkey at the moment, I'll see how I go, if this doesn't work I'll try something else.

We once went to Portugal, Ms. Terrorist was very good and stayed in the shade with factor fifty on all week, apart from the very last day when she sat with the rest of the party by the pool.

She took precautions, wearing a thing robe and towel over her legs, she was completely covered, except a very thin strip across her stomach which she left unintentionally exposed for a bout twenty minutes. The result was a ten centimetre red stripe, she looked like a slightly lop sided Rovers shirt.

Ha ha u are funny Sandra to be fair I used to be bottle White I'm still pale but I do now turn a tinge of red/brown gingers very seldom go a lovely colour and while this can be depressing it's nice to be natural.
