Rovers have just torn up his playing contract. If he wants to go play for someone else he can do. Whether anyone can fit him in or if he would even want to go is another matter.

According to the rfl rules Kosh posted Rovers are no longer his employer.

It may well be he has agreed to be sacked and then be reinstated in a week, but by the letter of the law anyone could make him an offer given a quota space and sign him, of course he may not choose to sign, or there may be no offers. but thats outside the scope of the rules.

He means the RFL board. They would have to give a dispensation to allow him to be re-registered this season.

You'll be aware of course that if Rovers don't notify UKBA they could be in breach of their agreement with them on the licence they've got. If the licence is removed as a result of non-compliance, anyone covered by it has their visa curtailed too...
