Makali is not playing because he is down the pecking order and is leaving for another club, the people in front of him are not.

It was a serious incident but it has been resolved. Like I said he is not playing because he has agreed to join another club, Justin wont pick a player who is leaving above one he wants next year, hardly a big scandal.

So why not just go public and announce that as the reason then?

A statement along those lines from the club would be perfectly acceptable to fans and would resolve the mystery why he's not playing, simple really.

Why is nobody on here playing up a stink about David Mills or Chaz I Anson?

If what you say is true then Macca is simply not available to be selected to play for Rovers again unlike Mills or I Anson who conceiveably can put themselves in contention.

Rovers had no problem making it known to fans that Stan would not play again after signing for Gateshead. I really don't see the problem here. If he's moving on and therefore will not under any circumstances be selected why not say that, instead of the line about "having things to work on"?

Makka played today in the reserves. He looked very keen and made some of his usual strong runs.

Looked very much to me as if he was out to get himself back in first team reckoning.

Wheeldon missed a fair few games at the beginning of the season and was playing in the reserves then looked pretty good when coming into the first team. Perhaps Macca's spell out may actually have done him some good?
