Out of interest has our mascot changed or is it still Lee, the guy who spent a day helping a young Hull fan conquer his fear of mascots? Genuine question.

Anyone got any background on this? Seems rather odd for a ban to just come out of the blue for no reason.

If the reason quoted there is true and the only reason for the ban, then I think FC have way way over reacted tbh.

=#000080Rufus states the reason as wriggling his bum, but =#000080the letter doesn't quote that fact? Can Rufus clarify the full content of the letter, because - if his reason =#000080is the correct one, then this is a tad embarrassing, to say the least.

However, think I'll reserve judgment 'til the full facts are known.

It's also a bit odd that they've waited 2 weeks to say anything, that the letter didn't go through Rovers but straight to him, and that he, as an individual, is banned from the KC indefinitely when the next derby's not until the summer. Do FC even have the power to ban him from Hull City games - wouldn't that be the SMC?

IF he has been banned for what is stated it is extremely pathetic from our club. Mascots are there to entertain and i doubt very much anybody would complain about the mascots.... then again i should know better and we probably recieved 1000 complaints of lewd behaviour by a mascot

Doesn't say they're banning the mascot itself, just the individual involved.

I have spoken to Hull FC's Media Manager just now.
Its true they have banned Rufus from the KC Stadium.

Hull FC recieved compliants from spectators that Rufus showed his bare backside at the recent game.

Two questions jump straight to mind here.

Can Lee show his backside in the costume ????
Why not ask him for his version of events 1st before jumping straight in with a ban. ??????

Regarding showing my bare backside I cant even get dressed myself in that suit as it zips from top to bottom down the back.

So how am i suposed to get my bare backside out on the middle of the pitch, I wiggled my backside like I do at most matches to both home away games and this is usually accepted with a laugh not all this .

I think the rendition of red red robin did more to incite the home supporters. This is yet another of these silly squabbles both clubs seem to engage in when either side is concerned.
I have seen the rovers mascot on tv plenty of times shaking his tailfeathers at the crowds and i think the majority of people take it as it is meant to be. Just a bit of light hearted fun.

As for the supporters who complained i think they have way too much time on thier hands.
