That result just made my Easter. We were good but the dark side were cack. Should have been 20-0, 36-0 on spurned gilt edged chances. That tackle before the Price try was complete and the ball was in the field of play. Shocking decision by the TMO.

Congratulations on a well deserved win. Should have been 20-0 at least, but for video referee incompetence.

Terence Campese was absolutely in control. Kieran Dixon was excellent. Both the centres and Shaun Lunt were very good. Albert Kelly was unlucky not to score. Nobody played badly.

Some Hull FC players tried hard, and Minichiello was very good -- but they were crippled by the incompetence of their halves. Leon Pryce was a criminally stupid buy for them.

Over at Hull FC board they are very bitter. "Kosh" the immoderate moderator locked a thread I started which offered helpful advice to those bad losers.

At no point in that match I thought we would loose. Never felt like like watching a derby. I thought the hull fans were just being over critical but their attack is dire.

We never got out of second gear but, didn't really need to. Hopefully energy levels will be ok for Monday. Good times indeed.

That's the worst we've played since Wakey away but still had far too much for them.

I said the same, worst fc side I've seen in 15 years. They wouldn't have scored if we'd played all night.

Get a grip Stan, I went to wakey and trust me rovers were ten notches better in defence and five notches better in attack tonight

I admit that tonight is the first away game I have been to this season, but the defensive performance was miles better than at Wakey. In attack we were guilty of over playing and some of the final passes and options we chose were poor. Harlem Globetrotter rugby it wasn't but confident, committed and encouraging rugby it was. Overall our execution was below par.

That said, Wakefield were 10 times better in creativity and flair when we played them than the dark side were tonight.

Credit where credit is due. Defence held strong ( although against somewhat of a poor attack) and scored when needed to. Rovers BOH staff are doing something right. Good signings, good coaches and good aquisitions in JP for next year.

Tbf, FC were crap tonight. They have been for a while. But it's nothing new. Just a realisation of how bad they are. Radford is doing an amazing job. Long live radford.

I think we held back 2nd half & tried to conserve some energy for Monday. Far too comfortable for a Derby.

With Green fresh for Monday, this was a perfect game for us. Gave us time to rest players, as fc were really crap.

Hence the reason why I said "since Wakey", jeez is it that hard to comprehend. Lets put it another way (and I've yet to miss a game home or away), we played better in defeat at both Warrington & Widnes than we played tonight.

Defensively we looked great, but much of that was due to their entirely predictable attack. With ball in hand it just didn't happen for us tonight. We could have had a cricket score with a bit more composure.

I'm not complaining, just pointing out how easy it was for us. Winning when not at your best is a good habit to develop. This habit is even better in a derby.

Just sat watching it back, I may have been a tad over-critical earlier. I'm also well on the way to being merrily pi$$ed!
