I'm not bothering. One derby to many I feel. What swayed it in the end was the price. Rovers fans paid £10 to watch the Wigan friendly, Hull fans paid £12 to watch the Castleford game.
Why the Extra £4-£6 simply a derby.

Share, to me, is a proportion thing. The absolute amount both clubs get goes up but the share is unchanged.
The price is set where it is with the aim of maximising revenue.
The 'discounts' referred to have been polite euphemisms for the same. Supply and demand, adapting to your circumstances. The only thing sinister was the twisting of language, but spin is endemic nowadays. |
