Big problems at Saints apparently, Huddersfield drained by Wembley and short in the halves (where they were already hampered by not getting Carney). Saints: Rumours that Potter has lost the dressing room, lost the last 2, potentially without some of their nucleus of key players who've pulled them out of impossible situations over the last few seasons (Wellens, Cayless, possibly Graham, Long playing with one eye etc)
Huddersfield: As stated will have been a massive drain to peak for the CC. The halves were already their weakest link with planning to have Carney, now losing Brown for the season as well, just don't think they have the guile to get to OT unless Hodgson goes on an amazing run.
Wigan: Very average against us, Noble on the way out, losing to Huddersfield at time of posting. Stick a fork in them, they're done.
Wakefield: Excellent one-off team, but they need a run that will be beyond them with 9 missing yesterday plus Brough another crucial casualty.

1) Carney was never allocated a squad number
2) Brown is consequently a first choice HB
3) Using that logic, Vella would just be a squad player.

Thing is with rovers, they have no play off experience and i don't think their players have the bottle for it. Yesterday's game was very important for their passage to OT and should have been treated like a play off game IMO and they were so poor we'd have beaten them.
