Not that much. He had a great partnership with Richard Horne and scored a shedload of tries running the middle channel on his shoulder. 4 tries in one game at Odsal. I remember on the way to Cardiff for the Challenge Cup final when news he was in hospital with appendicitis came through whilst we were at the motorway services, there were literally people sitting with heads in their hands. His contract re-negotiations with us stalled on the point that he was borderline international and was holding out for selection mid-season. So to suddenly claim he has risen to this elevated status on the back of his time at Rovers is overstating things.

True. Always considered him a class act at Hull.

But when he was at FC he wasn't a pivot was he you know with you getting rid of him for Tony who was marvelous in that role apparetly (Couldn't catch the bloody thing but who needs a FB who can catch or is willing to try and catch the high ball eh).
