Well they wouldn't be the first team to have 'specialised tactics', what exactly did they do wrong? (Genuine question, i wasn't there)

And Hull KR never did a high tackle in the whole game at all, no?

You get your say but if you know anything about the game that most teams including yours do 3 men tackles and lift the left leg and count 5 and then slowly lower the man to the floor.They teach this from under 9s to pro game.

They do actually, it's one of the first things we get told to teach the kids (after the basics obviously) is how to hold up the play in tackles just long enough to not concede a penalty but long enough to get the line re-set.

No high shots are not tatical parts of the game, they are just oocupational hazzards..I did only highlight slowing the play the ball down. Find me a team that does not do what you origanally stated?

did you notice i was also talking about the head shots.

So Cas were the only team on the field doing head high tackles? even though Gene & Murrell are famous for them?

agreed, thought castlefords indispline let them down today.

I don't think they are.

There were a couple of nasty headshots that might have had a sin bin, but their discipline was poor. I couldn't believe the player who punched the ball out of Welhams hands AFTER he got up from a tackle (which would have led to a downfield kick on the 5th) thought he would get away with it. it wasn't even 'crafty' and the ref was stood right next to the play, even Thaler would have seen it.

so the 4500+ in the east stand are wrong also.

I thought that Cas were well organised and clearly their tactics were to slow us down ... that's just what we (Hull KR) do/did when we were playing superior opposition. Saying that I never thought we were in danger of losing.

Cas' tactics weren't dissimilar to Huddersfield's when they played at ours a few weeks ago. Morgan's comments clearly had the effect of a wake-up call to officials as it seems odd that Huddersfield have only won 1 match (vs Celtic) in the SL since then- maybe it's just a coincidence?

That's my opinion anyway.

(Watching the TV game last night I don't think that Stu Fielden was too impressed with Mr. Thaler)
