cas, wakey, crusaders?

Wakey for me. Unless something dramatic happens with the whole stadium situation, I think the fact they recently went into an IVA will swing it against them. Crusaders are safe, it would be mental to dump them after one round of licences.

Quins?

Don't rule out Quins. Their bankroller has stopped putting in his £300k per 1/4 and they are deep in the brown smelly stuff.

It's ironic that their present stadium which works against their franchise bid is the most popular amongst the fans polled on the VT.

Second most popular is the KC, so it seems supporters fall into two distinct camps.

Much as the KC is a lovely stadium I've always enjoyed standing on the terraces amongst both sets of fans, so I fall into the first group I guess.

cant see rfl gettin shut of crusaders just yet, quins is my prefered choice but i dont think that will happen either as they are 'an expansion' club to 'spread the word of our great game' Same goes for catalans. so i think it comes down to wakey, cass and salford imo, mainly due to grounds been or not been built. saints will be safe even tho their ground got slated

I have no idea tbh, and I only know you are (I'm assuming you're a Wakey fan) from George Riley's blog. I'm certainly not wishing you or any other clubs out. We spent nearly twenty years in the wilderness and it'll be very hard to get back.

I've heard similar, but I wouldn't rule out the crusaders yet either regardless of them doing well on the field, I've heard a lot of things going on in the background at board level and trouble could be on the horizon with the football club, it's not inconceivable they could go bust again before the next franchise period and is perhaps why nobby is holding off sorting his future out

im going for quins...was talking to a cpuple of guys who i know personally, they have an interest in the quins down there, they was saying how hard it is for them to compete and to sign players etc etc..apparently dorn is there highest earner on a mere pittance compared to most sl players...,,saying that tho, id take afew of there players if they went bust. sharp,LMS, for starters......

Although they are fielding mainly British players , their recruitment recently has been weighted toward loan signings and hoping to unearth talent from the lower leagues. A continuation of this policy will make them even less competitive , and they are already bottom of the pile.
