Awesome player on his day. He'd easily get in both the Saints and Leeds team, we should have never let him go!

Benny Galea told GML that Fox is [ithee[/i fastest player he's ever played with or against in his whole career - arguably the fastest player in world rugby league and probably faster than that South African onion player.

He's not just fast though, imo he is the best British winger currently playing the game. His work in clearing sets and kick returns is top notch and he just about always finds his front really giving the team a solid platform.

For his second try today i felt he still had a couple of gears left yet still zipped in from 90 yards!!!!

Fox is a lot stockier then the south african winger ( I think he is called Habana or something like that), his acceleration is amazing and I think would leave Fox behind. That being said, Fox must be one of the fastest in SL.

Not too sure he'll win the race for fastest in SL tbh. He is fast and wouldnt want anyone else playing on that wing currently however I think Owen had more work than Foxy to do as of their starting positions and he wasn't a million miles away from making the tackle. In a straight foot race no ball or anything it probably wouldnt be too far off being a draw and there are certainly faster than Owen in SL right now.

Ali Mac would have left Foxy for dead in his prime, now there was a speedster!!!

Yeah remember him, only played handful of times because of injuries though didn't he?

Anyway, superb perforance yet again today by Fox, and great to see what it meant to him at the end in front of our mini East Stand!

I dont think Fox was at full tilt.
He was looking around and actually slowed down as he got towards the line and then went inside to improve the angle.

If he means in place of Colbon I'd probably agree.

I agree i think colburn this for us this year has been great. Making a lot of yards helping out the forwards and also scoring many tries. he has really impressed me.

I have been nothing but highly impressed with Colbons efforts this season, tell you what, we missed him when he was out injured!

Clucking bell Roofs, I was a big fan of "The Car" but he had no where near Colbon's strength, work ethic or defensive qualities.

Just feel Colbon isn't the player Morgan thinks. It can't be a coincidence that most teams target his side. Not having a go because he's a solid winger and good finisher, but can be vulnerable defensively at times.

to be fair when peter fox is on the other wing, (englands number 2) his side will always be the weaker side unless you have some other international there.

I think you have to look a lot further in field to see the real problems for Colbon and Webster being out of position. Clint Newton is often found too central and teams can then shift the ball wide knowing our winger and centre have to come inside.

There is no coincidence that when Ben Cockayne was deputising for Colbon his wing was targeted too.

Communication on that flank is poor to say the least, those three really need to start talking in defence otherwise I'd move Clint up to prop next year and bring in a second rower that does communicate.
