This, unfortunately, is the nature of the Hull KR club's administration. Their main goal is to beat Hull, we are your benchmark and always will be. There's a bit of me that would like Hull to win tonight if it was guaranteed they'd lose in the final yet again, the pain of another trip back from London knowing the monkey was firmly on the back would be quite sweet.

The worry is that if they win this one then they will be favourites to win the cup so I'll be an honourary pie for the night.

Over the last couple of seasons they've have gone from clown car (tbf, the team was never [ireally dreadful[/i, it was more the dysjunction with Pearson's PR) to steamroller. Fair play - genuinely.

I'm increasingly resigned to them winning at least one of the two finals. They just look the part; more so than anybody else. There's still time for the wheels to come off, but it is rapidly running out. Anything can happen in knock-out football, of course...
