Way I see it is that the last place is between Widnes,Fc and us. Widnes will probably win 3 more games. . However , either FC or us will win 4 depending on the Derby result.

Plenty of regulars playing and they do have some injuries plus played wednesday

I remember when Hull played something stupid like ten games in fourteen days so playing Wednesday shouldn't be a problem

All this talk of scraping into 8th and getting dry started by who ever is lucky enough to play us, makes you think about next years format, would you be better to scrape into the 8 and have a series of bummings, or embrace your mediocrety and hopefully be a bigger fish in a small pond with the championship teams, at least you might get to see a couple of wins.

Or get beat by teams running on confidence and go down. Not really a chance you'd want to take

Looking at the next couple of years, If two or three of the top Championship teams get some backing, a few decent players and a good run to get them to the top of their league, coming across a Rovers, wakie, Fc or Widnes that have had a bad run and/or a load of injuries and it's going to be hard for the S/L team to stay up. Then what happens? do we get a merry go round of 1 year contracts and mercenary players swapping between the 8 teams that are in and around bottom of S/L and top of Championship. I think if nothing changes. the will be 8 teams will all the best players , then a second tier of mercenaries and a third tier of half decent clubmen. There will then have to be a severe tightening of signing foreign players in the top tier to stop a total collapse of the England team and eventually the game.
