Will we be in the draw for the 5th Round?

Its a tough draw even at home but out of all the top 5 teams I think Wire on current form are very beatable. They appear to be missing our nemesis Briers!

We've had some great challenge cup games at Craven Park in recent years against them, so I'm sure its our turn to be victorious.

I'm going for us to sneak a win by 4 points

Heart says a victory, my head says a defeat. But i'll be positive this week and say us by 7.

Briers not being there definitely gives us a better chance for sure.

Wire 'very beatable'? Don't think so in fact I am sure being beaten will be the exception rather than the rule for them this year.

I'd like to think that Rovers will be tough at home from now on so it should be a great game.

Maybe your 4 point win won't be a million miles away but it still wouldn't make Wire very beatable. It'd make them 'strain every sinew with home advantage, top form and the bounce of the ball' beatable.

This is one of those matches which could easily go either way and nobody would be surprised. If we turn up, than we'll be going into the 5th round draw. If we don't, it's going to be a very long 80 minutes.

What will happen if we both "turn up"?

I am one of those optimistic fools that Sir Stan warned you all about, and I think we've turned a corner these last two games, yeah they were easy opposition, but it's given us a bit of belief and got confidence up, so I'll go for a narrow Rovers win, I'd even take a Golden point victory to get pay back for a couple of years ago.

On a side note, I wonder if Adiwolf is coming over for the game, jeez that poor lad had some bad luck at our place, every time he came there were gangs of hooligans waiting to abuse and attack him as soon as he got off the bus, and not one single witness could be found from either club. I suppose some people are just born unlucky.

wire have looked a lot better since russell came back in at FB. Can't see anything other than a wire victory tomorrow but at least both Hull clubs can concentrate on scraping into the 8

Saints aside we've either conceded 2 or 3 tries in all our matches with a 2nd half v Giants Broncos in which we didn't concede at all.

KR can win this but it won't be a big score because our defence is very good, it's our abject attacking form that lets us down.

We're not putting things together well so I think you could sneak it.

A lot depends on our kicking game - it's been cr@p for 90% of the year so far. We're missing Briers and Hodgeson as well as Carvell. Too many top class guys have gone and Woody / Harrison aren't back yet, so we're light up front. Asotasi has done sod all so far. Thankfully our 2nd row is strong.

Words I thought would never leave my lips, I agree with jake. Last two weeks were as much down to poor oppo as good play. Yes we were good last week but we never back it up. Wire by 20.

I agree the opposition wasn't very good but confidence will still be high as a result of those wins.
Even though we were beaten by Wigan the other week I saw enough to believe that the team and especially the half backs were starting to gel, I also don't believe that Warrington are the same quality team of previous years.
If we can get on top in the forwards tomorrow which I believe we can, then I am sure the half-backs will do enough to give us the edge, our kicking game will also have to be at its best, especially if the weather conditions are a little adverse
It certainly wont be easy and it could be a bit of a roller-coaster but I do fancy our chances tomorrow .
