Seems the second half was a bit scrappy, as was the first. But pleased our promising youngsters got good game time in the second half. Connor Robinson sounds to be one for the future, setting up the try for Lovegrove.
Hope there are no injuries today. All in all (apart from the score) a good first pre season game.

It was Radio Humberside, they were struggling to recognise the youngsters. They did say Connor Robinson, but I bow to other peoples better judgement if not.

All in all a good hit out for our fringe players.
Nobody seemed to be struggling so hopefully no knocks.

Thought the young kids on both sides has a good game against a strong opposition at different points of the game

It was Beharell who set up Lovergrove who ran a great line and really dont get why some of your fans wouldnt have him in your 17.

Keating wasnt on for long, surprised how small he is but has a good boot on him and showed some decent touch with the ball in hand.

Poore was the stand out outta the new signings for you guys.

Wouldve liked to have seen a bit more of our first team,especially in the second half when it was almost all fringe players,but happy with what i saw.

I only listened on radio but would have thought more first teamers would have come back on to get the fitness up.

Good first run out I would have said.
Poore impressed me with his work rate, Cockayne also was constantly looking for work, Weyman and Langley looked solid, slight worry about Costigan as the rested players from the second half left the seats after the game he seemed to be limping, not heard anything regarding this though.
Another plus was Eden seemed to be over his injury problems, and Hall also made a good contribution.
Second half the youngsters looked to be quite capable of holding their own, even when Hulls first string more or less returned they weren't shown up, with Beharrell Robinson and Green all catching the eye in my opinion.
All in all I would think it will have been a pretty satisfactory run out for both teams and their coaches, at their respective stages of preparations.

Would've been nice to see longer stints for some players but Sandercock got what he wanted out of the game. Execution needs tidying up but we created plenty of chances in the conditions...'We saw your sister on Jeremy Kyle'
