apparently fc fielded 14players at one point yesterday according to news reports i have read...anybody hear this at the game yesterday...?

Yes it did briefly happen but Clarky said it's alright so the matter is closed.

if this turns out to be true and an official protest lodged to the rfl...it could possibly mean FC following the salford line of punishment for this rule break..ie small fine and 2pts deducted.... will be interesting to watch and see what happens..

Why would it be an official protest by us, surely if a rule has been broken then the RFL would either deem it necessary to investigate or not. Why would it be left to a club to notice it and decide to do something.
Only if the RFL ruled no action , would an aggrieved party need to appeal.

Made no difference in to the outcome but not sure thats the point.

Anyone who is clutching at this straw really needs to take it on the chin. We lost and we live to fight another day. Lets move on.

Rules is rules and Hull should face punishment.

i`m just highlighting a section of a story in the national newspaper..... which IF the RFL show consistency should potentially lead to a 2pt deduction the same as salford got...

As another has stated... this is a rule break ,one that teams do know is punishable and it should not matter who a team is as to whether it gets punished or not....

As FC fans you should maybe get or be a little worried about this, simply because of the ramifications it could have at this time of year...losing 2pts now will not be so easy to claw back ......

The RFL will do diddly squat and too right in my opinion. Lineham was in no way in any sort of position to do anything to affect the play and Pitts was allowed to go on by the 4th official as Lineham went off at the east stand side of the pitch. If Hull FC get a similar punishment to Salford for this, then they should feel extremely hard done by imo.

Are you saying there are no rules regards the number of players on the pitch ?

Salford were fined and appealed. The fine was halved but 2 points were deducted as well.

So the precedent is that we could get a fine and then the best advice would say take it on the chin and pay. The points deduction is only a precedent if a club appeals.
