| Assuming everyone who was fit for Sunday is still available, I'd go with:
1. Eden
2. Hodgson
3. Welham
4. Hall/Salter
5. Brown
6. Burns
7. Dobson
8. Tuimavave
9. Hodgson
10. Paea
11. Horne
12. Paterson
13. Griffin
14. Carlile
15. Lovegrove
16. Mika
17. Beaumont (unless Walker is back, can't remember even why he is out?)
Only question mark for me is over the right centre slot. Salter hasn't put a foot wrong as yet and Hall looked somewhat weak on Sunday defensively, albeit against Rangi Chase pulling the strings down Cas' left edge.
Also not sure whether Walker will be available or not.
It's not a bad team although the front row doesn't have much depth to it unless Walker is back.

| EL CAMO, I would play Jordan Cox instead of Horne.
Beauy had a decent game, I rate him very highly and would give him another go.
In the last 2 games Alex Brown has looked exposed so I would play Salter as Hall's wing partner. I thought Hall brought something different at centre.
If Lovegrove is fit then he has to play.

| Good thing is the debate over Beaumont or Walker and other players is with 2 games in three days we can mix things up slightly and keep it fresh (well as fresh as we can)

| I think we need to be as big and as strong as possible from 8-13 and absolutely batter them into submission up the middle as that's the only hope they've got of causing us any problems. Once we've done that then all we have to do is be a little more patient and clever and just keep the pressure on for 80 minutes. If we play to our potential, then we could win comfortably. IMO Craig only looked a little iffy on Sunday in defence because he had Chase (talented but a scumbag) attacking down his side and he looked petrified everytime Jake ran at him. He's going to face nothing anywhere near that on Friday so i'd stick with him at centre as he usually seems to play well against Hull and he has that class that could really open up their tight defence. Patience is the key, build pressure, don't overplay things, especially in our own end, and we should have more than enough in our attack to score the points we need to get the win.
Also, if someone makes an error, what do the players do..... They support the man who's just made the error, get behind him and encourage him. The crowd should do the same. I'd much rather here a shout of "Come on Rovers" than a collective groan which serves no purpose but to transmit fear and worry onto the pitch. Lets get behind the boys and i'm sure they will do us proud!

I expect James Green will also be in the frame for the Wigan game.
In fact I would use the Wigan game to play a few of the fringe players - Sonny Esslemont, Tyler Hepi and Matty Beharrell - its not as if Rovers 'derby' team will recover sufficiently to beat Wigan. . .can they?

| Think Browny should keep his place he gives us a bit more Biff, i am a big Salter fan but i think Hally is a matchwinner so for the Derby he gets the nod at centre with Salter playing against Wigan on Monday.

| My team would be ...
1. Eden
2. Hodgson
3. Welham
4. Salter
5. Hall
6. Burns
7. Dobson
8. Tuimavave
9. Hodgson
10. Paea
11. Mika
12. Paterson
13. Griffin
14. Carlile
15. Lovegrove
16. Beamount
17. Horne
I still view Brown as a work in progress. His defence and positioning is still questionable and I noticed watching the game back that Hall seemed to be more concerned sometimes with what his wing man was doing rather than the opposition. Seeing as Hull's one and only tactic against Hudds was to kick high I think they’ll employ the same tactic again. So far I have more faith with Latus under the high ball than Brown. So for me Hall gets the nod. (even though he’s prone to silly errors like @ KC last year)
Horne was (for me) our most effective player off the bench last week. Good yards made, and nice footwork shown. Also offers the ‘unwanted’ option to shuffle him into the centres should we need to – injury or something.
The hard decision is Cox/Walker/Beamount. I didn’t think we missed Walker much and thought Cox took the ball up well, same with Beamount. Hull’s main threat to us is their forward dominance. Earlier I was in favour of Cox but on reflection I think we need at least two out and out props on the bench.

| The squads been announced and its Adam Walker in for Richie Beaumont, plus Rhys Lovegrove is named in the squad.
IMO the big decision is between Jordan Cox and Graeme Horne; based on his impact in the Castleford game Coxy gets my vote.
The two to miss out - Horne and Salter. Even though I feel Brown has been exposed defensively his 'first receiver' running and his physical threat puts him slightly ahead of Salter.
I see Holdsworth and McDonnell have been left out of FCs 19.

| Did Cox have an impact?
The derby calls for composure and I think Horne provides that.
Either way I wouldn't be particularly upset with whichever he chose. Nice headaches to have anyway.

I think I'd go for Horne Tbf and I think that's what he will do we need a good game defensively the rest will take care of itself

| A few either-ors but I'd go with:
Eden, Brown, Hall, Welham, Disco, Burns, Dobson, Tuimavave, J. Hodgson, Paea, Horne, Paterson, Griffin (maybe Cox if it is a heavy pitch).
Lovegrove, Walker, Mika, Carlile.
Brown-Hall rather than Hall-Salter mainly for continuity.

| I think that Horne will get picked ahead of Jordan Cox. I also think that Salter will come back in place of Alex Brown, with Hally shifting to the wing (fitness permitting).

That cud be an option I just think salter tightens things up in the centre on that side

| I'd agree, I like Salter a lot defensively. Didn't see the Cas game but I'd perhaps just edge towards Hall for his experience, penalty kicking for touch and conversions if Dobson's hamstring is still a little fragile.

| Having thought about it, and seen the squad, here's my revised team.
Eden
Hodgson
Welham
Salter
Hall
Burns
Dobson
Walker
Hodgson
Tuimavave
Horne
Paterson
Griffin
Carlile
Lovegrove
Mika
Paea
Brown unlucky to miss out but I think Hall provides the X factor we might need and Salter tightens up the defence a bit. I also think that pack allows us to start solidly then bring on Lovegrove, Mika and Paea to impact the game midway through the half.

| I'm on my own here as no one else ever says this but I like a balanced prop selection, in that I want a cart horse and a stallion.
Therefore I see Tuimavave and Walker as our cart horses and Lovegrove and Paea as our stallions.
Brilliant analogy that.

| Team picks itself. Hall will play Centre for his pace and creativity if nothing else. Eden will play. Walker and Lovegrove were needed to be back for the defence they bring. Fairly easy to pick, its if they can stop it.
Eden
Brown, Hall, Welham, Hodgson
Burns, Dobson
Evarn, Hodgson, Walker
Lovegrove, Paterson
Griffin
Carlile, Horne, Mika, Paea
Its almost the best we have to offer tbh anyways. Hoping the rain and poor weather stays away.

Craig Hall made Jake Webster look like a world beater on sunday i wouldnt have him anywhere near the centres on the wing we might get away with playing him
