Really got to hand it to the powers that be at our club.

Throughout our Super League stay so far we have been more than blessed with the level of recruitment in this area

Started with the national league pairing of Webster and Murrell we obviously recruited Paul Cooke but the impressive part has been the ability to recruit Dobson, Green and now Travis Burns to play in what are very important positions.

Much more to come from Travis as well I am sure

Oh mr zod you are a card arnt you (best pairing in sl haha) after only 2 games aswell

Webbo & Murrell were POTY and young POTY of NL1 in our promotion year in 2006.

Cooke saved us from relegation in 2007 and played a major part in our 4th place finish in 2009.

Dobbo has been a revelation since 2008.

Green was our own POTY in 2010 before his unfortunate blood clot in 2011 which wrecked his season.

Hall has shown he's a special talent with ball in hand.

Burns is now one half of the best half-back pairing in Super League.

Amazing tho how since burns started we've won last two games how did holdsworth do against wire

Craig hall is a good player but think burns will go better in that position burns is solid in defence hall is great in attack

But u have a great depth in ur squad this season so no excuses and not me making that big claim either

Still, Dobson/Burns is (as much you don't wish to accept) a pretty good pairing for any team in this league. Even if this is pointed out by Mr Z.

What I find really pleasing is they seemed to have clicked and gelled straight away if our forwards do the job they shud every week I think dobbo and burns will sort the rest out we have direction now ok defence a little dodgy but looking better for the season, I am pleased as I think hudge has the right man for the job

I never said that I don't accept that they are a good pairing - I haven't actually seen them play together. However to suggest that they are the best half back pairing in Super League seems a little premature.
