HDM report that they are to have crunch talks over Rovers future.
It reports that they are considering their future support of the club in the wake of a difficult S/L campaign. They are thought to be frustrated with the struggles of holding the club up in recent times. After missing out on the playoffs and after spending the full cap, they are questioning the long term viability of the club.
As a consequence of the uncertainty, the club has made the decision to delay the sale of season tickets for 2013.
Hudgell and Crossland are to have talks later this week to discuss the long term future of the club and it's business plans for the future.
They have said they will not continually run the club at a loss and have to look at alternatives.

Have to say I agree with his stance on reducing the salary bill in line with what the club can afford. The game is in crisis with most of the clubs unviable without support from benefactors.

Wonder what our new signings with think when they read this.

I don't know if HDM are taking things and wording them how they want.

But that does not make for good reading!

I wouldn't of thought rovers would have already start preparing for next season with the signings they have got if they was in that much trouble surely?

Hull F.C fan I am, but I wouldn't like to see rovers go out the superleague, it's great for the city, and the sport on a whole.

Correct IMO. What better way to ease in a non-fan as chairman than a big piece on the consequences of it not happening are depicted in apocalyptic terms? The boost becomes bigger, then, and especially timely just before season passes are released.

Bizarrely, whilst we've had years of crowing about the BOD at Rovers being fans, there's a pretty strong possibility that they've seen the commercial projections of the club through those tinted lenses and this has been a factor in today's news.

Can't see how they would fight to get the north stand done and then pull the plug were in a bit of a catch 22 for next season really, fans already questioning the squad however I think it will be better and the board wanting more support, I think we need someone else on board to help.

They'll probably just ring NH or CS up and ask.

Jake and mrs b you are so bad at this, I think a lot of the players and they know who they are need to take a long hard look at themselves this season and be ashamed, it's them that's let the club down and the fans I don't blame hudge and crossland for these talks, wel still be around next season I also think sandercock needs to up his arris into gear a bit with the youngsters thought that's what his speciality was.

I'm not saying he's not to blame but if he's got a game plan and they don't stick to it or can't be bothered which let's be fair for most of the season the crowds are going to dwindle and it's just going to get worse and worse, I'm wondering if Its a problem between coach and players.

The bank that sponsored them in the first couple of seasons pulled the plug after seeing the road ahead the club was travelling along.

The current CEO Mike Smith no longer in the headlines as he was everyday before the Mason fiasco.
No training facilities.
No ground improvements.
Every promise to the RFL broken.
I actually hope they get out of this mire and some one clears their £6 MILLION debts.

Isn't this the same interview NH gave to Radio Humberside after the Leeds match back in february? Also he has written about the position in his programme notes several times. Hardly back page breaking news at this time but clearly NH and RC have an agenda and have done for some time. Other than not being prepared to underwrite losses not sure what their end game is.

Lets not panic, hopefully just paving the way for a couple of big announcements then watch the season passes sales roll.

We don't know what he's like in the changing rooms do we so we can't say how inspirational he is in the middle of the season when we were coming back from defeat he must have been a bit inspirational then
