According to the HDM, its good news; Craig Hall, Rhys Lovegrove and Scott Taylor might be back (subject to fitness tests).

In recent times Rovers have a good 'home' record against the Rhinos, but that might change this weekend. They will be smarting from the hammering Wakey gave them, plus they usually start to mount their charge for the play-offs round about now.

IMO CS has it all on to select a winning team but its not beyond him (and the players) to pull a rabbit out of the hat. It will be interesting to see where he plays Craig Hall, and how Scott Taylor 'shoulders' the media attention (and to see how he is received by the Rovers faithful).

Hall will be a direct replacement for Blake Green, although he might opt for the daft early season Hall/Lovegrove swap thingy if Rhys is fit.

Funny, why does Taylor need a fitness test, according to local media sources, he was dropped last week. Maybe he was dropped from such a height it caused an injury?

Sir Stan i agree on 1 point Webster out,regards Murrell he is a Leeds lad and has had some great games against them in the past he does not bother about reputations and gets stuck in which cannot be said of quiet a few at the moment! He also has a very underrated kicking game! Taylor has been carrying a knock for a month so must come back in if fit!

I also doubt Scotty is going to Cas my friend, i think i know a tad more than you about the rumblings at the Robins.

Got my ticket and my binoculars. Looking forward to a traditional 3pm kick off though if rumours be true I'd see more of the action from the South Stand at Headingley than the South Stand at Craven Park. When is the new stand due for completion and will it be a standing area ?

I'd like to see Chris Heil get another go. I hope we don't play Graeme Horne at 4. He's a right sided player, always looks very uncomfortable on the left imo. Louis Sheriff will get another start at full-back, I've a feeling Sam Latus might get a place on the bench as a bit of insurance.

Leeds are far better than Rovers in the rain, it's always raining at Headingley.

Looking at the 19 announced by CS, I reckon the absence of Keal Carlile means Scott Murrell is partnering Dobbo. If this is the case then IMO it will be a disaster; Scott is a nice lad and all that but he lacks pace, and will be severely exposed by Sinfield. However, Scotty does have a good record against the Rhinos so we might see him have his one inspired game of the season (I say in hope).

On a positive note, its good to see CS selecting the young guns; playing against the champions at MS3-CP will be massive for them. I’m hoping they settle down after last weeks introduction and put in solid performances.
For me, tomorrow’s game is about the senior players leading from the front. Webbo needs to forget about his aches and pains and show us he isn’t a spent force. In the pack, Ben Galea is in fine form but O’hara and Withers need to up their games and cut out the silly errors and ill-discipline that has crept back into their performances.

Can Rovers win or is it a case of damage limitation? I read a comment on the HDM threads how a supporter is an eternal optimist. That sums me up as well! As long as the team put in a creditable performance then I will be happy.
